At 11:30 a.m. on the 13th (Tue), Dongbu CNI (CEO: Lee Bong, www.dongbucni.co.kr), the IT service specialist of Dongbu Group, and Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK, Vice President: Jung Choong-hyun) concluded MOU for ‘IBK Campus’ project, the online education project.
According to IBK, the small and medium business bank, and Dongbu CNI, the purpose of this project is to resolve the issue of HR development, one of the biggest difficulties experienced by small and medium businesses.
With this agreement, Dongbu CNI will implement and operate IBK Campus, the education portal, and therefore provide diverse educational services to officers and employees of small and medium businesses, the customers of IBK. The significance of this agreement is in contributing to HR development and reinforcing competitiveness of over 10,000 small and medium businesses.
Park Sang-wuk, the head of Dongbu CNI’s e-learning Team said, “With rapid changes in the social, economic and technological environments, a space for knowledge exchange and job training is keenly required by over 10 million officers and employees of small and medium businesses. We aim to activate ‘knowledge-based education portal’ to provide a space of information exchange through voluntary participation and of e-learning service to small and medium businesses.” He added, “During the first half of this year, we will open the system centering on job training. We are scheduled to expand it to knowledge-based education portal in the second half.”
