Dongbu Steel, which specializes in cold rolling, produces various steel products by as much as 2,500,000 tons in scale, and generate KR £Ü200 billion in sales revenue in its plants in Asanman, Incheon, and Pohang. The Asanman plant, which was established in 1999, is particularly equipped with the latest production lines and automated logistical systems for production with the least unit cost. Therefore, its competency is recognized internationally. Also, Dongbu Steel has diligently developed new technologies, and has succeeded in developing a new process for the high-purity, multi-crystal silicone, a raw material in semiconductors, to export its technologies to Germany. It has also developed powdered, pure iron for metallurgy that is used as the basic material for electric and electronic products for automobiles. By laying the groundwork for the active developments in the ultra-modern, new material production, it is growing to become the world¡¯s leading general materials company.
Dongbu Electronics operates two CMOS wafer fabrication facilities within South Korea's well established semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure. Based in Bucheon and Sangwoo, these world class facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to process 200mm (8-inch) CMOS wafers. The combined throughput of these two facilities, currently at 50,000 wafers per month, is expected to grow to 70,000 wafers per month in 2006.
DongbuAnam currently offers a broad range of foundry-compatible CMOS processing for volume production in the following geometries: 130nm, 0.15§, 0.18§, 0.2§1, 0.25§, and 0.35§. Both Logic and Mixed-Signal chip designs are supported as well as High Voltage (LCD drivers and power management); Embedded Memory (Flash, EEPROM, SRAM) and CMOS Image Sensor applications.

Dongbu Hannong Chemicals is Korea¡¯s greatest general agricultural-chemical company, producing various chemical products, including pesticides, fertilizers, and seedlings. Dongbu Corporation, which was established in 1969, succeeded as a first-generation penetrating company into the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia, in the early 1970s to lay the groundwork for the current Dongbu Group.
